Mia Cose Bella
My Thing Beautiful
It is said that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. For Lisa
Marie Murray beauty lies with all things unique, colorful, creative,
and inspiring. This is apparent to anyone who walks into her newly
opened store, Mia Cose Bella, located in South Orange, New
Jersey.
Mia Cose Bella or “My Thing Beautiful” is a dream that has been in
the making for the past ten years, and features products that are
Murray’s interpretation of what things are beautiful.
Merchandise includes baby items, hand blown glass, handmade pottery
and jewelry from local and other American artists and artisans. 95%
of the hand blown glass and handmade pottery are from the United
States, and the rest comes from many international artists. Mia Cose
Bella also features textiles from around the world. Inventory
includes a wide array of scarves, throws, and wraps from countries
such as Ireland, U.K and Ethiopia.
In addition to providing unique, elegant, tasteful, and one-of-a
kind pieces, Mia Cose Bella is also committed to giving back and
supporting local and international artists. Merchandise imported
from Ethiopia is provided by Creative Women, an organization that
provides employment for 30 Ethiopian women, who are able to sustain
their villages through their earnings.
Having been in operations since June 2007, Mia Cose Bella has already
established itself as a place of sophistication, offering exclusive
merchandise that caters to individual tastes.
With its inviting atmosphere, an art corner for children, and some
of it's décor
created by local students, Mia Cose Bella offers a comfortable
shopping experience.
As the translation of the name suggests, ‘My Thing Beautiful’ is
truly a place where one can find beauty, appreciate beauty, and be
inspired by beauty.
